Aside from the slightly better weather in summer, another reason i love this time of the year is that my home town comes alive! Lots to see, eat, drink, do and just be! Plus, it is that time of the year where I get to spend time with the famz that i don’t get to see often because, well, we spread all over the world and Life! Post our North sea Jazz shenanigans in Rotterdam, Wana was back in London! Yeah, she is all over the gaff – performing, reviewing, paneling, judging, creating et al lol! Yep, she takes up a whole lotta space as a creative and I am here for ALL of it!
So we decided to meet up for din dins at Yauatcha for some dim sum! yeah! We love us some dim sum. I don’t remember what our menu choice was, but we tried a lot of the dishes and had ourselves a taster menu. We had – dim sum trio, kong pow chicken, duck and pancakes, veg, rice, spring rolls, puff savories. Listen it was a darn feast, F E A S T! served with a carafe cocktail!
Then came pudding! I mean.. boi! this was just a scrumptious delight!!!!
Ahh summer! We missed you this year for sure!
